Because I just kept swimming

To look back and see

All of the things-

I once saw as obstacles 

scattered across my path,

To look back and realize,

they were just stepping stones 

Grains of sand-

in my shoe,

To look back, 

and see fully,

I am stronger than all of that!

To look back, 

all I see are bubbles!

-Because I just kept swimming!  

Today I reach my finish line,

to the beginning of the rest of my life,

Today I reach the start line,

to my over all goals and ambition,

Today I stroll down the red carpet,

with my head held high,

Today I commit

 the best of the seven deadly sins. 

Today I graduate! 

Completely full of PRIDE! 

Pride in myself,

Thanks for judging me.

Pride in my achievement, 

Why cant I boast,

Pride in my journey,

Because I just kept swimming,

Pride in my strength,

Still so much I cant comprehend,

Pride in my ability,

to which I had no clue,

Pride in you,

for helping me through,

Pride in my heart,

Because it always knew.

Im worth so much more,

than what you chose to see.

to get the fuck away from you!

You gave me reason

to find my inner strength!

never faltered,

never pushed a pessimistic thought,
