This is about some bullshit! Seriously!
I just read about a Florida teen retained at Norfolk international for her wallet. Nothing was wrong inside the wallet, she wasnt doing anything illegal, and there wasnt anything actually dangerous about the wallet! What was wrong?
The wallet had a gun design on the front of it! A hallow cloth design or a old western type gun surrounded by camo! Thats it!
COME THE FUCK ON!
I understand having to be vigil about safety and everything but this was just a design on a damn wallet. If the gun design was made out of hard metal or something then maybe detain her for a moment and figure out if it is a working gun but dont detail the girl so late that she misses her flight and then get rerouted to Orlando instead of Jacksonville.
She had no problems going through Jacksonville and they are total dicks at security. I have flown through many airports and Jacksonville is on the top of the list for being crazy about security, and they were okay with it!
Norfolk on the other had made this pregnant teen and her mother freak out over nothing. I think they are getting alittle too carried away with shit now. We have a right to bare arms, even if they are fake and completely harmless. She wasnt implying that she wanted to shoot up the whole fucking airport, she is a redneck that likes camo and gun designs! This is america right?
Sorry I just had to write about that and now I have to write about this.
Along with what I just wrote about, I read another article that was a list of the ten "saddest" cities in America. This is based off of suicide rates, how many people are taking happy pills, and the unemployement rate. Shockingly, my home state, Florida had three cities in the top ten.
Miami, Tampa, and St. Petersburg. In that order. I can understand now after reading the article why those cities are on there but they made a generalized statement that Florida must be a sad state. I have to disagree with that. People move to Florida to cheer up! Florida is beautiful, the weather is conducive to a happy enviroment, and Jacksonville is the biggest shipping dock in the entire country. That is why the recession never affected Jacksonville Florida. I love Florida. It is my home and although I understand why those cities were on the list, Florida in general is not a sad state.
Last but not least on my list is the years worst fashion trends. I do not agree that all of them are that bad but there are a few I want to touch base on.
First, since Kate Middleton stepped out in a pair of panty hose, which is a total normal and respectable thing to do being royalty everyone and their mother is either starting to wear them again or making fun of the trend. Personally, I do not see why this is on the list. Panty hose is not a fashion trend. It is a required piece of a woman's waredrobe. A respectable woman, anyway. You have to wear panty hose to important events, interviews (if they are that buisness-y), and they are just a great item to have especially when you have to wear them cause you didnt have time to shave your legs but have to wear a dress or skirt. For my male readers, sorry but I have to include this in my blog and I hope you continue reading. You might learn something.
Next on the fashion flubs of 2011 there are these things called Harem Pants and good lord, I totally agree with this being a bad fashion trend! Here is a link for you to see what they look like- http://www.polyvore.com/harem_pants/shop?query=harem+pants These pants are not flattering to any woman! They are not flattering to any man either! Its like what a Jennie would wear or I would wear on Halloween to complete my Jennie outfit. It does not mean that I would ever wear something like this out in public on a regular day. They are flat our ugly!
If-y on the list is a Bandage dress, heres a link-http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/ooh-la-la-leger-gallery-1.80072 These dresses are pretty, some women look great in them. Like Amanda Bynes, check her out! But, unless you are a skinny minnie bitch, this dress isnt going to work. If you have a tiny tummy like me from having a child with in the past few years or you are like every other normal american then this type of dress isnt going to work. I would love to get in serious shape so that I could though, damn. I dont think is the worst fashion flub of the year though.
