So I just finished watching the season one three part finale, yes I know I am FAR behind the curb, that is not news to me. However, I do see why everyone is so Lost over "Lost". They never answer any questions! They only create new ones. It is so damn annoying! Why cause you cannot, not watch it! You are drawn into the show and then you get lost. Time flys by, you never get any questions answered, and your heart breaks with every single thing that happens that is heart breaking. Just went they get a few feet ahead something or someone causes the whole group to be shoved twenty feet back.
If I were to get stranded on a desert island I cannot say for certain what I would do cause no one, and I mean no one knows exactly how they would react in that situation but I damn sure wouldnt be exploring a locked bomb cellar looking thing that is marked bio-hazard/contaminated on it. And honestly if there is already a group of people that have been stranded there for 14 years then I would have no hope of being rescued. Then again I cannot say that for certain and I wouldnt wish a situation like that on anyone. What would you do if that happened to you? Would you keep faith that eventually you would be found? Would you just accept your fate and start a new life on the island? Would you try to find "the others?" Would you build a raft and try to set sail? Just picture for a moment what that would be like. I can see why this show was such a hit. I am glad I waited until now to watch it though. I wouldnt have appreciated such a fear back then. Understood the true struggle each and every character is going through. Plus, I was flying alot back then and I would have been totally terrified. I went to Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Tokyo. They are all 11 to 16 hour flights. I know now that I wouldnt have been able to fly as easily as I did. I really dont understand why people are so freaked out to fly. Well I can see a good reason now but in truth, flight is the safest form of travel in the world.
